We hope Midwest Beer will become an authoritative, respected and cherished home to anyone who enjoys craft beer made from some of the finest brewmasters in the world. Midwestbeer.com will follow the beer scene, breweries and brew pubs located in America’s Heartland. Although our writing staff is located in Wisconsin, and initially we may follow local stories because of their convenience, we do plan on being fair to all craft beer in the Midwest. In fact, fairness is what prompted us to start this blog. Much to my chagrin, nearly every publication I read about beer tends to favor the costal breweries, or those of Colorado. I do agree many excellent beers come from the states of California, Oregon, Delaware and so on but in my opinion the beers of the Midwest deserve much praise and shouldn’t be overlooked in the national scene. Here we will promote, celebrate and discuss some of the best breweries in the country!
